| Australian Commonwealth Games Association The Australian Commonwealth Games Association (ACGA) is keen for Australia to be represented by the best prepared players at Dehli 2010 and has therefore provided Bowls Australia with funding to help prepare our teams. The ACGA is also providing funding under the Australian Junior Commonwealth Games Squad (AJCGS) Program to help develop young players who have been identified as having the potential to represent Australia in 2010 and 2014. |
| Bowls Australia has joined forces with beyondblue, the national depression initiative, to raise awareness of depression and anxiety across the nation. The formal partnership includes a commitment by bowls associations to create awareness about depression, anxiety and related disorders among their members and communities, with the aim of breaking down the stigma associated with mental illness.
